KITES may assess the decision information to identify whether document review, ART review assistance or another professional service may be within scope. Not every refusal can be reviewed by the Administrative Review Tribunal, and review assistance may not be available for the individual matter.
What a document review can and cannot establish
A document review can identify the reasons stated in the decision and the issues requiring individual assessment. It cannot establish a review right, extend a deadline, promise representation or determine what ART, Home Affairs or a court may decide.
